Nichola and Daniel reached out to us to organise an epic Mountain Wedding in Wanaka, after their original wedding plans back home in the UK were cancelled. (Damn Covid!) But luckily for us, that meant we got to plan a gorgeous, fun and relaxed day for Nichola and Daniel to celebrate their love and commitment to each other. Staying at a super cute chalet on Aubrey Road in Wanaka, the two sweethearts were able to see Coromandel Peak from their balcony and count down the hours and minutes until the got to say “I do!”
Thanks to a sun-soaked morning, we were nice and toasty on the ground for this September wedding but still got to appreciate the snow-capped mountains all around us. After a gorgeous First Look at their chalet, we headed out to the lakeside for a bit of adventure before our helicopter flight. We had a bit of a breeze, which meant that we could play with Nichola’s beautiful flowing dress in the wind while also exploring around some awesome rocks and reflection pools on the lakefront.
Next up, it was time for the chopper! Daniel was stoked to be heading up in a helicopter and we couldn’t agree more – it is always so special to be able to re-live the thrill of our adventures through our couple’s first time experiences 🙂 Arriving at Coromandel Peak left everyone speechless, as it always does, standing up on that mountaintop with incredible views that only so many people get to experience. Mt Aspiring in the north-west was clear as a bell, so we took advantage of the picturesque peak with its foreground of the river dancing up the valley and golden sunlight streaming through for some sweet moments on the mountain.
Congratulations again, Nichola and Daniel! Thank you so much for having so much fun with us!!! We absolutely loved your passion and excitement and were so happy to help make your dreams come true! We wish you both all the adventure, love and success in the world xx
