Twin Peaks, Wanaka – Mountain Weddings

Twin Peaks is a new landing spot we can visit that is part of the Minaret Station – a location exclusive to one of our helicopter operators. It has similar sweeping lake and mountain views to Coromandel Peak but is much less travelled – looking in the opposite direction, from across Lake Wanaka. The flight is longer and the landing fees are cheaper, so we feel this location gives you more bang-for-buck. During mid-summer, the beautiful Mt Cook daisies flower alongside long golden grasses. The valley to our west offers a gorgeous, light-filled backdrop for a quick adventure and for the brave there are some rocky outcrops, which make for some incredible photos.
