The Ridge, Queenstown – Mountain Weddings

The Ridge is one of those less-travelled and more unique locations compared to The Ledge on Cecil Peak – with 360 degree views of awesomeness. The Ridge is located higher up, at about 5,500ft so has gorgeous views of mountains and the lake in both directions. The towering summit of Cecil Peak provides an epic rocky backdrop and the altitude means there’s a better chance of snow up here during winter and the shoulder months. The Ridge is also one of our favourite spots for a golden hour flight, as the sun sets on the leading edge of the Ridgeline and we are often treated to gorgeous beams of golden light.
