The Garden Spur on Cecil Peak is an awesome spot for weddings all year round. To the East, it looks out to the distinctive Remarkables mountain range and Lake Wakatipu. The view to the West is like something out of the Scottish Highlands and/or Game of Thrones, with huge rocky cliffs making for awesome photos. Garden Spur has the best snow base on Cecil Peak for winter weddings and often has longer-lasting snow going into spring.
