Amanda & Jon travelled over from USA to elope in the stunning Earnslaw Burn, beneath waterfalls and a massive glacier. Being the first day of summer, the weather didn’t disappoint with the mercury hitting 26 degrees celsius. The waterfalls were in full force, as the November snow was rapidly melting away.
We had scheduled a second landing on Cecil Peak, where Amanda & Jon were going to perform their first dance. As we left Earnlsaw Burn, we could see how flat and reflective Lake Wakatipu was, so we promptly changed the second landing location to take in the beautiful views up the northern end of the lake.
