Dragonfly Peak, Wanaka – Mountain Weddings

Dragonfly Peak is one of our highest landing spots at around 7,000ft. It overlooks the epic Mt Aspiring and has views of mountains upon mountains in every direction. As well as sporting a very cool name, Dragonfly Peak can be a great option for a snowy landing near Wanaka in the winter and sometimes the shoulder months, without having to fly to a glacier. We are often lucky enough to have Kea visit us here – in February 2020 we had more than a dozen Kea soaring above us, chirping and playing in the wind.
