Big Geordie, Queenstown – Mountain Weddings

Big Geordie is a very cool spot located on a ridgeline between Mt Crichton and Mt Larkins. It has an awesome view up to the head of Lake Wakatipu, looking over Pig & Pigeon Islands and across to The Humboldts and the Main Divide. This end of the lake is known for its beautiful aqua-coloured water, due to glacial flour from the Dart River. It is one of our lower landing spots at 3,600 ft but has epic views in every direction from the lake to the rocky mountain backdrops behind.
