Ground Wedding Photo Shooting
Most of our base heli wedding packages include 3 hours of photography coverage, allowing us to capture a first look, an hour up on the mountain plus flight time and leaving us with around a spare hour for ground photos. Depending on the time of year we may do this first, generally over the shorter days of April to August, whilst in summer it’s a great time to capture some last shots by a lake, or another lower mountain that’s accessible by road.
With our photography, we also have options for a quicker editing turnaround if you want a faster delivery, or for a small stack of Film Polaroids for you to take home at the end of our adventure.
Here’s some of our favourite wedding photos captured with an emphasis on the golden hour. This all comes down to our planning for the best light of the day to give you something really incredible.
Finally over the shorter months, the Milky Way is visible very clearly, particular from certain parts of Queenstown, Wanaka, Mt Cook and Tekapo. If the moon phase and clear conditions work out, we can capture some night shots at an additional fee.
