Carina & Jakob wed a month back on the top of the Remarkables amongst snow. We flew late in the afternoon, and captured some photos before hand down by the Shotover River, a favourite walk for our own family. The mountain was a fresh minus 2 degrees celsius, but that didn’t stop Carina & Jakob from having a snow ball fight at the end. The take off from Double Cone is quite spectacular, as we lift from over 6,500 feet. Their reaction was quite evident of the height. Once back on the ground, they popped some champagne, looking back to The Remarkables.
Jakob is also into his photography, so a week later, whilst they were on their roadie honeymoon, I took him out to Glenorchy for a photo workshop, something that I’ve been doing for many years via our Queenstown Photography Tours brand. It was awesome to spend a few more hours with Jakob and hear more about their adventures from back home in Queensland.
Congratulations again, Carina & Jakob! And keep those adventures coming! xx
