Fog Peak, Wanaka – Mountain Weddings

Fog Peak looks up a beautiful valley nestled between the awe-inspiring mountain ranges of Wanaka. It is a fantastic option for a snow-landing in winter and the snow-base often lasts longer into spring, as well. (Pro tip: Snow is always very cold…you will need a coat or thermals!) Fog Peak is northwest-facing, which provides for awesome conditions with lots of sunshine and backlighting for your afternoon ceremony and photos. We love pairing it with a contrasting location such as the grassy, rolling hills of Coromandel Peak or Lochnagar, an alpine lake with crystal waters.
